Jorge Garzon is collaborating on various projects in the Miller Lab. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Panama and was working for three years at the Smithsonian Institute Bird Collection (STRIBC) where he learned how to process bird skins and developed his skills as a field ornithologist. Jorge also worked in the Gorgas Memorial Institute where he studied zoonotic diseases in mammals. His interest also expand to studying speciation of birds in the Neotropics.
He is currently looking to study evolutionary biology in a Master’s program.
